… and then, dramatically removing his sunglasses, Cameron slowly intones, "Perhaps I didn't make myself clear. I have come here to chew bubble gum, and to piece together, once and for all, what happened in Titanic’s final minutes … and I'm all out of bubblegum."

I hope they let Lucas make some edits too, 'cuz my biggest problem with Titanic can be expressed with four simple words: "Not enough Hayden Christensen"

So is Rowan getting his terminology wrong, or is Cameron going to add CGI to the already-existing, non-CGI effects? And, more alarmingly, why do I care enough to take the time to ask?

Which is even funnier since the director's in the opposite situation, where the studio is basically saying, "Eh, this thing's gonna make a zillion dollars no matter who directs it, so don't let the door hit your ass on the way out, champ"

Finally! Craig T. Nelson, back on the big screen where he belongs!

    Sexy vampires?

The X-Men films seem pretty good at exposing* just how bad certain actresses are. Halle Berry, January Jones … who will be next??

I liked First Class, but until I read this article, I didn't even know that was Jennifer Lawrence in that role. She seemed sorta blah to me.

I'm actually really digging Kenneth's arc this season. I don't know if it's because they're putting him in a (slightly) new setting, but for the first time since season 2 I'm laughing at his wacky antics, as opposed to just sorta ignoring 'em.

I've seen it maybe half a dozen times over the past couple of years. Always thought it was an above-average show, but never really understood the obsessive love for it.

As a skeptic who only occasionally watches the show, I gotta say, this totally won me over. I haven't laughed this hard at a sitcom in a long time.

He wants it to be one way … but it's the other way.

"The Increasingly Belligerent Interviews of Todd Margaret", coming next fall!

Actually, taxes that you paid at some time probably helped fund the library in some way, which in turn paid for the DVDs at some point, thereby providing Mr. Simon with a residual payment of some amount.

That's the gift that keeps on giving, the whole year.

Donating to a thrift store is really the way to go. I hate getting 50 cents for a used CD from Half Price Books only to see them turn around and slap an $8 price tag on it.

Funnily enough, I find resorts in other countries to have way better wifi than your typical American town. I spent a quarter of last year in Mexico, and wifi was rarely a problem. But when I travel in the U.S., and I need wifi, I almost always have to go to Starbucks … and I am not a fan of going to Starbucks.

This is where I'm at. I used to be a collector, and wanted hard copies of everything I consumed. But after a few decades of that it becomes a burden (unless you live in a huge mansion and never move, I guess). I still have my books stored away, but I'm getting rid of most hard copies of movies and music.

I read Gravitys Rainbow AND Ulysses last year … but I don't need an award, per se. I'd settle for a handjob.

Glenn Howerton is brilliant on that show, especially considering that Charlie gets all the love. Who gives a fuck if he "put in his time" on the standup circuit or whatever. Man, fuck Mark Maron.
