looking forward to the backlash
C'mon, where are all you "fish in a barrel" knuckleheads now … she's hating on a hipster fave! The balls on this Hater!

i really don't have anything against the killers
but a B-sides and rarities album? already?

what about 60 minutes?
I don't know about its ratings, but it's totally not as hip as it used to be. I still watch my Season One DVDs, though.

i liked forte's george w, too
I don't get why they replaced the George W impressions with Jason Sedeikis. That guy is one of the most boring and unoriginal cast members of all time, and he's in like every goddam sketch now. But at least he's not as actively godawful as Seth Myers.

judd, your time is up
Check out the reviews for Nanny Diaries and that new Ethan Hawke movie. It seems you've been replaced, and the bandwagon's new name is Laura Linney. Your 15 minutes are up, don't let the door hit your ass on the way out. (Actually, DO let the door hit your ass on the way out! It would be funnier

is laura linney paying off you commenters or something
I'm on to you guys, the AV Club Commenters are totally getting checks from Laura Linney for all this ass-kissing. Shame on you, you sell-outs.

if you'd've told me three years ago
that Bob Odenkirk and Will Arnett were teaming up to make wacky comedy movies … I would have been quite excited.

do they still do shows about talking poop
that was pretty big when I was a kid.

amelie's movie reviews
should end with some kind of special catch-phrase, like "I Hatered It!"

owen wilson: suicide attempt … or could it be murder
I'm looking your way, guys from Steely Dan …

next great american band?
don't they know that all the best bands are Canadian these days …

previous post written under the assumption that m. a. lee is female
just so y'all know

it all comes full circle
it makes sense, since the character of General Zod was originally inspired by Brigham Young. With all those wives, there was lots and lots of kneeling.

m. a. lee
marry me

awesome interview
Thanks AV Club.

hey crappola
The AV Club has a long and illustrious history of interviewing B- and C- and D-Listers. Check those archives, you'll see. It's only relatively recently that they've been able to get big names.

never whistle while you're pissin'
Hey Hagbard, I wasn't trying to retort your "unwatchable" claim. Although I kinda like this movie I can completely sympathize with someone who finds it to be an abomination. Because it is. And that's why I kinda like it :)

watchable
I don't think it's a great movie, but as far as this series goes, I find this movie to be far more watchable than, say, Paint Your Wagon or The Real Cancun … just sayin' …

an additional observation on the firsties phenomenon
The people who bitch about the Firsties comments actually take up more space than the Firsties posters themselves. You guys fall for it every time: Whenever I see a thread start off with "Firsties" I know there's gonna be about 10 comments beneath it saying "You're

a safe prediction
I predict that this will be one of the AV Club's most-commented-on posts. Ever? Well, at least for this week.
