Good episode but its super rushed pace made this part of the Simon arc feel super inconsequential even though it's supposed to be the opposite.

Okay seriously how is HIMYM still the only current American multi-cam sitcom that's actually kind of funny even though it's been flanderized to hell? Every time I give one of these other series a chance, I can't help but give up on it because (a) it's not very funny and doesn't get much better over time and (b) the…
Why isn't Netflix picking up more/any original sitcoms? Lack of demand?
This show is almost off-putting in how confident it is in itself (it feels like it feels it has nothing to prove, unlike most first seasons), but this episode really came together in the end.
What's Carter Bays' other last name?
This was produced before the last few episodes and I can say it makes me miss the hopeless-crush side-plot between Charles and Diaz. I don't get why they dropped it so soon. Or I have terrible memory and they haven't.
INT. APARTMENT - DAY
fuck it lets get coffee
The real money's in mediocre comedy.
Actually teared up at Wade tearing up re: the divorce news while pretending to be happy while looking at his daughter's stuff. I'm interested to see what happens to everyone in the season finale.
I laughed, and Kyle Mooney is still hilarious, but this episode felt pointless.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Does anyone know the meaning of the title of the sad cue they started using in the beginning of the show, usually whenever Michael realized a mistake of sorts, called "Burn It, Aunt Mommy"? Obviously the "burn it" refers to the banana stand, but who is aunt mommy? http://youtu.be/5AmDaeLR5AU
And actually a full-length and pretty good song.
So glad this got a full season.
Man. Welcome to the Family wasn't that bad.
I don't think the show should have ended already. I think it shouldn't have forgotten how well it humanized its characters in season 2.
Hm. I never liked how the show started rooting relentlessly for Leslie soon after Mark left. But to each his own, I guess.
Season 1 - mediocre
Season 2 - amazing
Season 3 - great
Seasons 4+ - watch and decide for yourself i guess!
ABC's The Goldbergs and NBC's Welcome To The Family almost seem like Greg Garcia shows to me, and they're not as bad as people say they are… they deserve a better chance than the plethora of unfortunately very bad new multi-cam shows.
Welcome to the Family had a pretty funny pilot, plot-driven-ness aside…
