I think it's more because the last American multi-cam sitcom to premiere to really give a shit about being good (this is opinion of course) was How I Met Your Mother back in 2005.

I knew Bad Samaritans would crash the company!

FINALLY. I know Netflix has always given PCs the short end of the quality stick compared to Rokus and whatnot but Silverlight is an abomination.

If all the Viacom stuff is gone why is the new Teen Wolf still up?

Also I really dug the end credit song of episode 15, made me wish the "on the next" stuff had been shown before the final Michael/George Michael scene so that could be the very end of the season. But I guess it's not AD without an "on the next" portion.

Were people really expecting this to get an A?

I think reaction also depends on what you consider "peak Arrested Development" - for me that's Top Banana thru Let 'Em Eat Cake, so I'm not as keen of the increased density of seasons 2-3 as some people - but I think for plotting/cleverness I'd give this an A, and for actual humor value I'd give it a B-.

Eh. Unlike most "shows getting worse" scenarios the core creative team & sensibilities changed significantly after season 3. They're very different shows.

Season 4 onward sucks though. Lucky that Nickelodeon still pretty much shows at least one of the "classic" episodes per day though.

It looks like Disney is stretching the GF season out more than a year, perhaps because the next season won't be ready until early 2014 at the earliest.

Eh. My favorite episode is "Marta Complex" so maybe I'll be disappointed if the episodes are more season-3-y but as long as they're funny I don't care.

me7 always had a question to ask. I tried to ignore them, but sometimes it was impossible.

Winston also wrote for season 1 of My Name Is Earl, which was pretty underrated IIRC.

I think more people would've watched it had it been called Bleep My Days Says.

Interesting because apparently that is the correct order intended by the show's creator yet the Halloween and Thanksgiving episodes are backwards?

I always gave the HIMYM pilot extra points for having 2 of my favorite moments in the series (Barney kissing Marshall, and making Ted call him his best friend - even though Barney is far from my favorite character). But yeah, this wasn't very good.

However, had the show not been picked up past 13 episodes, it would've ended with Ted re-finding Victoria at the end of "Drumroll, Please" to the voice over "and that's how I met your mother." So she would've been fleshed out somewhat. But I think she was only the just-in-case mother.

Bummer that all of the cast have been telling talk show audiences that you could. Hurwitz!!!

If you mean starting at season 1, yes, if you mean starting at season 8, maybe not?
