Welp, looks like my prediction that CBS would have the best single-cam sitcoms was wrong for now.

What I don't get is if the networks really want to save money why don't they air more real reality shows like Real Brother-in-laws Of Culver City or Couple Has Tons Of Kids?

"Us & Them" looks like the next "Ben & Kate", not as good and more romance-driven, but with nice cinematography and doomed.

not hacked, squatted

Unfortunately Nielsen live viewers only account for .06% of people who know this kind of stuff

ME! Don't worry, I know how much you guys like movie parodies. NExt season will be Changtastic !!!!

CBS single-cams! I know they've done it before but it's nice to see they haven't given up on the format. CBS has tons of money so hopefully they at least look great, but as I said before I won't be surprised if they're really good somehow.

Stu-balls!

I don't think the problem is low stakes so much as a lack of low-key-ness. When's the last time we had an episode like "The Camel"? That was hilarious and not much happened at all. I think episodes are actually TOO plot-heavy now. There's no time for these characters to just interact anymore, everything's a plot point.

Sometimes pilots just disappear. Tad Quill and David Walton of "Bent" were reportedly working on a single-cam pilot for CBS and that's the last I heard of it.

My favorite P&R ep is still "Practice Date".

I think season 2 of Parks & Rec was funnier but yeah, right now New Girl is better by a fair margin.

I think the worst part is that even the visual montage isn't that good. It's just kinda scatter-shot and it doesn't even list the actors' names.

The Pre-Nup actually isn't quite so terrible on re-watch. I still can't get through Who Wants To Be A Godparent?

I think he said his on-stage persona was an act. I believe him but I haven't met him.

Hilarious pilot with great callbacks within it. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

I hope so. There's 12 episodes and a story arc.

Bad single camera sitcoms make baby Jesus cry.

Wait, I'm not the only one who thinks they're gonna reveal the Mother in 2 weeks, right? I mean CB & CT said season 9 eps will be unmistakable from the rest, and Barney and Robin are getting married, etc. So I'm pretty sure S9 is gonna have a different name or be a "missing stories" or something.
