Note the word "character", i.e., not necessarily a letter. It is a one word title.

Next week's challenge: Here's a tricky challenge from Sandy Weisz of Chicago. Take the name of a famous musical. Write it in upper- and lowercase letters, as you usually would. Now turn one of the characters upside-down and move it to another place in the title. The result will be the last name of a well-known stage

I'll back up to Tuesday real quick. I went to The Moth Story Slam for the first time in months, and got to tell a story. You may hear it here, it starts off a little confusing but once I get into the story, you can hear it:
https://www.youtube.com/wat…

Rey is Obi-Wan Kenobi. His ghost got tired of harassing Luke, so he reincarnated, and, as yet, Rey doesn't remember her past life.

It's got a man in evenin' clothes (how he got there, we don't know), dancin' with a chick in slacks! A chick in slacks, in like, 1962.

Is there a "talk about songs we like" outlet, because I have detailed analysis of "Twistin' the Night Away" by Sam Cooke. (He could rhyme "back" and "like" - you can't.)

May I write "The Xanax Diaries"? I *did* initially get the prescription after my brother's suicide attempt left me with amnesia. Damn, that was less than two years ago. (It sounds from that like my brother and I are troubled teenagers, we're in our early 50s.)

I feel so special.

You wouldn't know it to look at me.

Ninjas. That's all.

I know a few Ninja Secrets of Invisibility™, and recently employed them to keep my "bus buddy" from seeing me until we were exiting the bus (we board and exit at the same stops). I like her, I just wanted to zone out and look at my phone on the bus ride that day.

You are correct. I liked him a lot.

Sebastian Cabot was Shere Khan in the cartoon. Mr. French, who was English!

People who don't believe in phosphorescent ghost monkeys have a much harder time dealing with encounters with them.

Brady Horn Presents: Pugs for Bernie!

I told this story at The Moth Story Slam at Café Istanbul on April 12, 2016. The theme was "Jokers". The word I forgot when telling the story was "Convalidation," hence the title.

Happy Birthday, Loretta Lynn (b.April 14, 1932)

Elvis v. Godzilla!

Well, I'm female, and looked really good in my heyday, so maybe that was it.

I'm not one of those "you kids get offa my lawn" people, but don't expect me to know all the hip bands. I was born in 1963, for fuck's sake, I was hip in the 1980s ("You look that girl in The Human League!").
