Whether Steve Miller is a good guy or not was never of great interest to me. I'm extremely middle-aged*, so grew up on a lot of his hits, but, while saying good on him for calling out RRHF's sexism, I'm neither outraged or amused to learn that he's unpleasant.

If what you're saying is true, I still don't care.

Osiris and I used to have that World Map shower curtain.

Courtesies of a small and trivial character are the ones which strike deepest in the grateful and appreciating heart. - Henry Clay (April 12, 1777 – June 29, 1852)

Happy Birthday, Peter Riegert (b. April 11, 1947)

Alles Gute zum Geburtstag, Ollie Riedel (b.11 April 1971), der Bassist von Rammstein.

The French pronunciation of "Catastrophe" is "Cat-a-stroff" which is kinda fun to say.

But wait, there's more (elsewhere, I wrote about Friday and Satuday):

Y'all, I guessed the Will Shortz puzzle as soon as he finished it, I will bet you may to:

You can tell you have created God in your own image when it turns out that he or she hates all the same people you do. – Anne Lamott (born April 10, 1954)

Good, good weekend, y’all.

Yesterday, I heard children oohing and aahing over our dogs, so went outside to what was up. Three little girls were talking to the female (mixed breed) and one of them asked me, of the old Golden, "Is the big one very old and wise?" I said "Yes, he is very old and wise."

Uh, no.

Happy Birthday, Tom Lehrer (b. April 9, 1928)

I wanted to be married to Gomez Addams, but after reading Patty Duke's book, I was happy not to be married to John Astin (in fact, he seemed a lot like my ex). I still like Astin as an actor, and it's not that he's a bad guy. But he's not Gomez.

Oh, good song. Now I want a "Here Comes (Who Loves) The Sun" mashup.

Egg?
