I disagree.  Every once in awhile there's a little wrinkle thrown into Emily's revenge plots by the writers just to maintain a semblance of reality and the laws of physics.  She can't be a perfect revenge-machine, for pete's sake!!  She's probably just going to kill Mason anyway, but still… WRINKLE!

Why was Mason allowed to snoop around in the Grayson house with the police?  And did anyone else see the police detective's look when Mason snuck up on him and asked him about the evidence?  His facial expression was saying "Bitch, PLEASE."
