Amazingly, this is the SECOND episode of Fringe that makes parenthood seem like a fucking nightmare (the other one was when Fauxlivia had Henry, the magic disappearing-in-the-timeline baby).

I don't think so.  She sort of carries the show for me, and really tries really hard to deliver the consistently terrible dialogue.

This was the best episode I've seen of this show… I was even touched at the end when Axl moved the amorous couple from in front of Sue's locker- it was a lot better than Modern Family's dopey ending monologues.

I noticed that too- I kept thinking "What the hell happened to his mouth" even though now he actually looks completely normal…

I thought Charlie might be in the box and we were doing a Justified crossover.

The second I heard the word "seniority," I thought "CREED YAY!" If we do not see some of his mad management skillz, that's IT. I am no longer watching this show. And I'm not going to spoil it for myself either!!!!

I would have loved Arnett too, but I think he's already committed to something else next season, :(.

That was the least disturbing pastor I've ever seen on TV…
Seriously, I would rather watch a show with that guy all day than some of the disturbing stuff on the Christian channels… I can't even recall seeing a depiction of a pastor/religious person on network tv who was actually just plain old nice… ever! Oh wait,

I found Evil Angry Phil just… I dunno, delightful! I hope he makes a reappearance, occasionally, because I loved watching him torment Haley and Alex.

AHHH!!!
Return of the cheesy end-of-episode voiceover!!

I like Bizarro Tara!

Good point. I guess we need a "Big Bad" this season and it might as well be an alter!

I guess the opening credits are never coming back, huh?
I know we're in the third season and it was getting old, but I still liked them. I kind of would have preferred that they changed them a little bit (add Shoshonna! and YWNW!) instead of just scrapping them.

I'm not going to let Survivor ruin tiki torches for me… it's already done enough damage to humanity as it is.

I'm wondering what happened to the baby too… Maybe by turning on the machine the baby served its purpose and the writers feel comfortable just un-existing it, although I thought the whole baby thing was going to make for some intense dramatic stuff between Fauxlivia, Olivia, and Peter, but maybe they've just found a

I thought the straight hair made Astrid look older, but more sophisticated, which was the point I guess?

I think it was a 15 year jump- the sign Peter was looking at in the beginning was just a memorial, but I think they mentioned that the other universe was destroyed 15 years ago. I'm not sure tho.
