So sorry to see you go, Nathan.  Your columns are my favorite thing about AV Club.  I hope you'll continue to write in some medium about whatever inspires you.  I'll always be ready to read more.  Good luck to ya.

Tea Leoni was once heralded as the Lucille Ball of her generation?!  Who do I have to punch in the dick?

I think it's great that the Kings of Snark that started this website (and have, with success, of late become oh-so-very concerned with feelings) should find their collective genitalia in a wringer for a joke that wouldn't have passed muster with their arch nemeses MacFarlane or Tosh.  Funny how "just kidding" seems

Idea for next installment:  The naugahyde jail bait eating a fishwich while topless on the beach.  Ah, Carl's Jr.!  Always the high road.

"The Box" wasn't outright terrible?  You must be thinking of the porn parody version. Understandable as (fun fact): They didn't have to change the title at all.

"…a misanthropic, suicidal apartment-complex doorman/handyman who’s dedicated himself to making the residents’ lives miserable, in ways both subtle and horrific."  Sounds like an uncredited remake of Klaus Kinski's "Crawlspace".  If he keeps a woman locked in a cage and insists on butt play during his love scenes,

Anybody else getting a little tired of Tobias's moral self-righteous shit when he's reviewing films?  I can understand being upset by "Raw Deal: A Question of Consent" because, well, that was THE WHOLE POINT!  (I do, however, take umbrage to his varying descriptions of it including words such as "risible"

Sounds like this deserves an F for plagiarizing the French Canadian film "7 Days".  Sounds like it deserves an F- for making such a mess of it.
