Maybe he's Damon Lindelof's alter ego.

You keep saying it was "subversive" and "clever" without explaining how or why. Please do enlighten us, since literally no one else shares your view, not even the people who liked it (whose only defense is "yeah, it was stupid, but it looked really nice").

Yes, it's a fuck you to people who like watching good movies.

This must be a joke post. Every line of dialogue in The Counselor was completely ridiculous, not just for any movie but especially for this one. It was as if a college freshman philosophy major wrote it, and the few people online claiming it's a "secret masterpiece" are probably in the same wheelhouse.

This is clearly some kind of elaborate series of joke posts, but they're not being done with thick enough sarcasm/wit. B+

Fuck that movie. I don't understand all the "But I liked it!" people. The script was so aggressively dumb and lazy across the board, it practically had contempt for it's audience. Between this and The Counselor I get the feeling Ridley just doesn't give a shit about altering screenplays to make them watchable anymore.

People hate on this show way too fucking much. Yes, Carrie being pregnant is terrible, but the high points of this season have been as good if not better than the best of what's on TV right now. Everything with Saul, Quinn, Dar Adal, and Carrie as long as it's tied to those three is consistently absorbing.

We get it, you don't like the show. You don't have to keep reminding us.

Agreed. I'd be bothered, but I stopped giving a shit about this show back in Season 2, it's just background noise right now to be honest. Every now and then I'm pleasantly surprised with episodes like "Clear", but George Romero really was spot on in calling this a soap opera with zombies. It's not well written and

He's pretty much right.

He's crazy, no doubt, but he's not an ass kisser and especially not someone to insult the performance of an actor completely dedicated to his role, which anyone with a brain knows De Niro was in Taxi Driver.

I think it's time for James Franco to catch a trip to Belize along with Kanye West.

It's one thing to be a blithering idiot, but to straight up lie regarding a famous director? I doubt Herzog gives enough of a shit to comment on this, but there is 100% no way any of those words came out of his mouth.

I wish that as well if only because it would mean more Claire Danes sex scenes / moaning scenes. She does moans like nobody's business.

dat claire danes ass

This guy was pretty creepy in Kill List.

It was planned all along. I always thought it was completely out of character for Carrie to go to the press, and this kind of proves it.

The enemy being a plague or the Governor isn't so much what matters, it's just the quality of the writing. The Governor could have been an amazing villain, and the plague business could be a hell of a lot more exciting. The characters and the dialogue are just constantly stiff and uninteresting, there's a reason why

This season is interesting. Narcisse and Knox are basically the villains, along with some side players like Rothstein and the Tampa stuff. It's pretty spread out while S3 was basically just Nucky vs Gyp, which was simple but led to an astounding climax and ended up being my favorite season of the show. It took 7

That scene stole the show. From episode to episode, I'm always most excited to see Capone's plotline.
