I'm gonna miss Colt. May he rest in crazy motherfucker heaven with Quarles. Eldard did great work this season.

I agree. This was the most contrived episode since some of the really low points in Season 2 (of which there were a lot).
Justified has the best dialogue of any show I've seen since Deadwood and The Wire. That sounds hyperbolic, but I honestly can't think of anything currently better when it comes to people speaking. Boardwalk and Breaking Bad come close.
I'd like to give Ron Eldard the MVP award for this episode. It was at it's best whenever Colt and Tim were onscreen, though the entire episode was glorious.
Yeah… god damn.
Yeah, every woman on this show is gorgeous… however, are there any attractive guys besides Philip? I guess this is time for the ladies of A.V. club to chime in. Philip even seems like kind of a stretch for me, his veneers distract me almost as much as Walton Goggins' did back in S1 of Justified.
Amazing episode. Wynn is due to unleash another righteous gangster fury tirade in the near future, after all this shit. He better not go to Canada.
I'd love to see coverage for this. I really liked the first episode.
This episode is what the show desperately needed. Finally, something that felt like a worthy follow up to the pilot. Now if they could only keep up the focused, atmospheric pace the show as a whole would improve drastically.
You nailed it. The show has become dramatically more stupid since Season 1.
A Raylan/Carrie sex scene would be so hot.
That was easily a B+ or an A- episode. Hilarious subplot ("Take it to the edge"), Raylan shoots someone, and Boyd is all around awesome along with an amazing Arlo scene to top it off.
I have no idea, but apparently Lance Henrikson is in it (clearly for the $$$).
Yeah, Prometheus was awful. Just so very badly written.
Yeah I feel like there should be a clearer rubric on grades sometimes. Like, The Americans is a grade A show so if it gets a B+ that's still better than The Following getting a B+, since that's a grade B or C show. The fact that it's on FX would be enough if not for them having shows like Anger Management on.
Motherfucking Spartan. That movie was so good.
This has been a bad week for new entries in legendary franchises. This and the new Aliens game both being abhorrent.
Another great episode. Keri Russell looked outrageously hot with the red hair, eyeliner, and trench coat.
Holy shit, you're right. I had no idea. She truly does bring down productions.
That last bit was some quality sarcasm.
