@avclub-29501df08e5d9ae59e432e4f188d3735:disqus I'd probably put Deadwood and Mad Men in that category, yeah.

I could not agree more, and you've basically described my exact feeling as to why I keep watching. There's really nothing too special about this show besides the production values. Daryl and Rick are entertaining to watch, and The Governor is a decent villain, but that's kind of it. The characterization is absolutely

@Merve2:disqus How does losing some weight translate to 6 foot musclebound basketball player? Cut down on the hyperbole.

@avclub-29501df08e5d9ae59e432e4f188d3735:disqus Walter White's show-long arc has been fairly profound to me. The amount he's changed with all of it never feeling false or manufactured for a moment.

"An actual woman"? Bullshit. No matter who you are, you have control over how you look. Dunham just doesn't care, and wants the public to validate her. If the nude scenes weren't enough to support this, getting with Donald Glover and Patrick Wilson seals the deal.

That's subjective, and body image is actually a pretty apt topic of discussion considering how masturbatory this episode was. Dunham wants people to love her for who she is, including men completely out of her league.

@avclub-f8f8c273f326be25421cc62737d24a9e:disqus That word should be reserved for shows like The Wire or Breaking Bad, not this.

Profound? No.

Thank you. I'm so fucking tired of people screaming misogyny when anyone says they think Dunham is unattractive or out of shape.

Yeah, like me. I've been wanting to make a Half-Life movie since I was a kid. Just have to do the whole "make a name for yourself as a director" thing first. (hey, at least I made a popular HL2 music video 2 years ago!)

This show is knocking it out of the park in every department. Atmosphere, acting, plot, everything. Not only have the first two episodes just been flat out awesome, but they give me the tingly feeling that this might end up being even more ambitious than Homeland. There's a lot of potential here, and I can't even

A truly glorious episode. Lots of Deadwood fanservice, especially with Bullock giving Hearst another humiliation. Wynn Duffy his usual self, not batting an eye at good old Ned Rierson getting shot in the head right next to him, and Boyd and Raylan reunited in hilarious fashion. God I love this show.

Season 3 was the best season with a villain the show probably won't ever be able to top. Season 4 is pretty good so far but not nearly as exciting as S3 was.

Stallone is probably on an insane amount of supplements along with Steroids. The veins along with his general body shape at that age is just really unnatural.

Yep, as everyone else has already said, that was fantastic. This was an A- easily, and the preview for the coming episodes was awesome. I've never heard of Matthew Rhys before but he was great in this, same with Russel. She was sexier in the seduction scene than Garner ever was in Alias (might be in the minority

Now I want to re-watch that scene from S3.

Wasn't crazy about tonight's episode, but Boyd just gets better every season. Get Wynn Duffy, Raylan, and Boyd in a room together - magic will happen.

@avclub-f882fc1c4ace591561f1d3ab1d39b99a:disqus Now that you say that… I can't unsee it.

Only way this season could get any better is if Theo Tonin sends in a prosthetic armed Robert Quarles to clean up this shit.

He likes beautiful women, can't blame him. Natalie Zea is still probably the hottest actress who's been on Justified, though I agree with people saying she got annoying at times.
