I wish she'd lose some weight if she insisted on being nude so much.

The scares were good, but this was a dumb film. The plot was extremely barebones and almost everything was manufactured just so things could happen. It was basically just the Mama demon fucking around with Chastain and the kids for the running time until she got bored of that and decided to end the movie.

Wynn Duffy is probably my favorite character in the show behind Robert Quarles, who was one of the best villains in recent TV memory alongside Gus Fring.

A ranking? Sounds like a Wynn-Wynn situation.

It's a movie. Of course things will be made-up.

What? How were Maya and James bullshit? If anything is bullshit it's ridiculous comments like this. The reviewer and people like you talk like you know better than Mark Boal how things actually work, and that no matter what happens to help the story, it must be "too convenient" or some shit.

My point was that they were both fantastic villains.

Quarles was one of the best TV villains in recent memory, along with Gus Fring and George Hearst. Smart of them to go with a different style for Season 4, since topping him with any one villain is highly unlikely.

Cheap tactics? I'm getting so sick of you Homeland nitpickers. Without "cheap tactics", shows like this or 24 would be impossible to make.

Also to troll men who enjoy looking at attractive women.

Exactly! You said it far better than I did. I'm bookmarking this for next season, when the inevitable "The Brody/Carrie relationship sucks" arguments come up again.

It is, but his refusal to change isn't as interesting to me anymore. It's a great show, but it's still just about Don not changing at the end of each season (aside from the other things going on, which there are many). Season 4 could have ended the series with a meaningful arc for the character. 6 or 7 seasons just

The problem with Girls is that whatever talent is there (which there is at least some) is buried under nepotism, narcissism, inconsequential shit, self indulgence, and bullshit.

I usually really like the A.V. Club but that bit you just quoted is pure nonsense in it's most distilled form. Unbelievable that any writer, much less commenter on here would write that.
