Diction means word choice, not annunciation.

Agreed- That element was really sort of necessary for everyone jumping on board with the singing.  They'd pay you bigger bucks if you caught that.

I loved this episode, but the funniest part was when I imagined Lorne Michaels walking on stage at the end of the Adele sketch and abruptly announcing that SNL was officially cancelled.

How long before they get rid of Abby Elliot and Vanessa Bayer?  Each has done some strong work, but are in the company much stronger cast members than themselves.  I think Michaels could do better.  Also, Jay Pharaoh is a better impressionist than comedian, which kind of sucks.
