Yeah, I like this show more when it focused more on banter and character interaction than the big crazy action pieces. One of my favorite episodes is "Death Bear," because the parts where they're just wandering around the zoo are great (also because Eileen is delightful).

Muscle Man is that guy in your group of friends who's loud and kind of obnoxious, but does nice things like bring beer or give you a ride home. He's pretty charming in his own way.

I thought Axe Cop was a lot of fun. High School USA fucking sucks, though.

"You're bad, Bart Simpson."
"No, I'm not!"
"You're bad, and I like it."
"…I'm bad to the bone, honey."

Same.

An hour in, and unless they really work to make Diane Kruger's character more likable, I don't know if I can stick with this. If that's the case, it's a shame because this is a fantastic setting for this kind of show.

I saw this earlier and thought it was fucking hilarious. I'm pretty surprised by the lukewarm reception it's getting from critics.

God, the scene with the pharmacist really was amazing. I like how she started cleaning glasses and wiping down the counter.

He's allowed to have his opinion, and it's an opinion I happen to agree with for the most part, but I just want to know why it took him until now to come to this conclusion. Sandy Hook was more than six months ago. I also agree with Millar that he clearly knew what he was getting into, being a fan of the first film.

I actually felt a lot of sympathy for him in this episode. I think we've all had a moment like that in our professional lives where two different people (or groups of people) are yelling at you to do conflicting things and you just become paralyzed by the idea of fucking it up.

Selina's accident WAS pretty shocking. I had basically the same reaction the characters did. And although I don't expect this show to be 100% realistic, I felt like the Secret Service's reaction was a little…muted? Like, wouldn't they have immediately scrambled and rushed her to a hospital instead of just sending her

The part of me that likes this show is very pleased. The part of me that had my hopes up for a Sleater-Kinney reunion in the near future is not pleased.

Yeah, I can't bring myself to empathize with Amy completely because at the end of the day, she was telling journalists what they could and couldn't report on.

Amy's meltdown on the producer was amazing and terrifying and kind of hot.

"Go period fuck period yourself exclamation point."

He was basically the Jonah of In the Loop. "Everyone wants to read your report. It's like Harry Potter if Harry Potter made people really really angry."

I thought this was the weakest of the season so far, but that's not saying much. Up until that fantastic dinner scene at the end, it just felt a little flat.

Cersei was having absolutely NONE of anyone's bullshit tonight.

I still think it's a travesty that Jenna Fischer didn't get an Emmy (or at least a nomination) for Season 5. The road trip and MSPC arcs were some of her best work. That shot of Pam and Michael walking away from Dunder Mifflin after quitting as their smiles slowly fade is one of my favorite scenes in the entire series.

Maybe I'm biased because she's my favorite character (and I have a huge crush on Jenna Fischer) but I've felt for a while now that The Office is really Pam's story. She undergoes the most change as a person, and she's involved in almost all of the show's most emotional moments (even the ones that don't involve Jim).
