He even knew he was monotone, but it's so awesome. Here's some lyrics from Mass Appeal:
I know I'm dope but don't wet that
I've suffered setbacks but now I'm makin greenbacks
Just like baggy slacks I'm crazy hip-hop
Check one two and you don't stop
Your head'll bop when I drop my crop
of pure bomb, just like the seashore

What's with the high quality sound coming out of that "Walkman." Those things were a hissy mess. 80's my ass.

How's about Evilfatsozon? http://axecop.com/ Solid bad guy right there. Well, mostly gooey, but solid in a metaphysical sense.

More like "Dis"appointment television.

What was the show with Nell Carter? We used to watch the shit out of that show. Gimme something? (Internet internet int—"Gimme a Break") Where's the box set of that?

If you said that to V.I.C.I, her jaw would actually drop off. See how that's funny for kids?

Is someone at AV Club collecting this shit? That's comedy gold right there.

He's not full retard.

Jeez, that kind of makes sense.

Yodeling -is- kind of girlish. He must be pissed folks don't get it.

I remember VHS box art for this
It prominently featured an inflated back. Totally disgusting. Don't fail me Intertrons… ah, only the Japanese one. But it's got that inflated thing.

I think even Watterson would throw a nod to McCay of Little Nemo in Slumberland fame.

You all keep forgetting about the "Conservation of Rs." Those dropped Rs need to be made up elsewhere. To wit:

Plutonium is where it's at. U-235 is so 1950's. Pu-239 is the new hotness!

Said as much above—it's just stunning. There isn't another author that hits with that kind of power.

Nice one Chris Moore! I would put _Blood Meridian_ in the Class 100. That's one of the best books I've ever read and needs to measured on the Hulk scale.

Blood Meridian
I got my Cormac McCarthy on this year—nice coincidence with the AV Book Club thing. So far it's been: _The Road_ (amazing), _No Country For Old Men_ (excellent), _Blood Meridian_ (astonishing), _All the Pretty Horses_ (Amazing) and _Outer Dark_ (great!). I'm glad to have found an author I like so much.

Best thing about that movie is the use of Dengue Fever covering "Both Sides Now" in Hmong. Awesome.

The Balrog scene from The Two Towers is better, if only that it opens the fucking movie. Pretty much every other film would end with the huge monster wizard sword fight, but this one opens with it and dares you to stick around for the rest of the coolness.

It didn't cheat, it was just dumb as a hammer. That whole game came down to can you beat that two-headed guy about ten fights in? If yes, you win. If no, keep playing until you can. Then win.
