It was a nice touch not only showing his dismembered head, but then while the audience is processing that image, only then show him blinking. Put that on the list of wholly disturbing images from this show.

I was thinking that if the guard didn't have a son, the address would be a setup to get the resistance in the cross-hairs again. It didn't happen tonight, but whatever the reason, I can't see the writers going to the lengths to give a specific address without a reason.

To fit in with my new friends at the trailer park in 1978 (when I was 7 yrs old), I started collecting and trading baseball cards (i.e., pestering mom and dad to hook me up with a pack from the grocery store). A few years later, I had a shoebox full of "extra" cards. "Extra cards" to me was if I had a duplicate,…

C minus is accurate, if not generous. The thin storyline could have been saved if the gags had been funny. Unfortunately, the show was not saved by a string of random grand prix/bike race/bad city planning jokes, nor by the generic jokes about New York. By the standards of any animated sitcom, this episode was a…

I was impressed at how the Olivia-Etta reunion scene was so powerful, even though the writers didn't have much time to develop this storyline. The acting, plus the simiarity in appearance that absolutely made you believe Etta was their daughter, made the scene much more powerful.

Last season, I may have watched a few of these episodes while I took my old man nap after work, but tonight's premiere was intriguing once I could follow along. The episode was heavy on the backstory on how Emerson's character developed a working relationship with…well, software, I guess.

I have to admire them going for a Leo Sayer reference when they're looking for music to play for the snakes. I don't think he had been in the public light (in the U.S., at least) for about 15 years.

Well, there was the lawsuit against the record company to keep things interesting.

Rocket's last role was on Law and Order: Criminal Intent, where he played a terminally ill villain plotting a suicide-by-cop bank robbery.

I didn't get the point of introducing the random love interest for Mike, except to prolong the eventual resolution with Mike and Rachel together. (Not unlike the Burn Notice fixation on introducing late plot twists in the season to prolong the story arc for Michael Westin to "make the leap home".)

The last 10 minutes or so did a very efficient job of showing Card to be as sleazy as possible.
