It won't be surprising given my avatar, but LOST is my favorite show of all time. Even its final season, which is uneven, gets better every time I watch it. I hope its legacy becomes more than "the ending sucked." (Personally, I think the ending is still the most emotionally resonant television episode I've ever seen)

I am so sick of this persistent "Lost didn't know where it was going" crap which has been debunked numerous times. It just isn't true. You can look at pictures of the actual pitch they made to ABC, which, even before it went to air, outlined the mythology of what the Island "is", the Others, Dharma (originally called

What didn't you like about the Joker stuff?

That's what I liked about it though: you didn't have to read a bunch of other books to understand what's going on in the book you like. If you liked Batman, you could just read Batman. If you liked Superman, you could just read Superman.

It's one of the coolest Batman images in recent memories.

A lot of thoughts. The New 52 relaunch got me to be a regular comic book reader for the first time in my life. I always wanted to get into them, but the mythology was so dense and confusing that there never seemed like a good place to jump in. Since the relaunch of course I've gone back and read tons of old comics and

Perish the thought!

Hey, can I talk to you a second, bro?
When are we gonna get those fucking t-shirts?

I give this news the tiskiest of tisks

You would think that!

Fuck it, I liked Suicide Squad.

Hey, webhead! Put down that copy of the Daily Bugle and turn off the dark!

I'm rewatching the show now, and I think she looks incredible. Something about that 90's, hyper-Amish hairstyle she has…it works for me.

The Curb season was so perfect, there's no need to do it.

This is beside the point, but grimdark is just the dumbest portmanteau. It's like calling a movie happygood

I don't think anyone lauded that. It's dumb and gross.

I found her character really relatable. She's in an emotionally abusive relationship, and even though she knows it's bad for her, she can't help herself whenever she sees him; she just falls right back into it. I just got out of a relationship like that. But with less chemical baths.

Now nobody can criticize me for genuinely liking Batman v Superman!

I mean, I love Hot Rod and that movie was trashed by critics, but do I get a news wire? Noooo.

Welllll, you know after I posted that I remembered After Earth, which is the last thing I saw him in. But I gotta say it's the only bad performance I've seen from him.
