I'm not sure what the AVC consensus is on Will Smith, but I find him likeable as hell.

If that's true it's madness, because the Batgirl prologue to that Killing Joke adaptation is absolute mind-numbing trash.
I think Man of Steel is damn fantastic, save for that tornado scene which I genuinely dislike. The script has some problems—whoever thought Lois Lane using the word "tinkle" was a good idea was an idiot—but I would say literally every single superhero movie does.
Whooooooa! Dude, you are edgy AF saying that!
The most popular modern incarnation of Batman is from the Nolan movies, which paints him as more of a loner. And the least popular would have to be Batman and Robin, which unfortunately is a lot of the general public's only experience with Robin and Batgirl.
Hopefully I'll enjoy the movie, because I ended up enjoying BvS (and the think the extended cut is quite good), but man oh man, would it kill them to get some good screenwriters? All these DC movies have looked amazing, the the writing is generally pretty dire. Whereas most of the Marvel movies are blandly directed…
Poor Green Lantern. It was really one of the most awful things I've ever seen.
I'm not defending the argument that critics have a DC bias, but I will say John Favreau is absolutely the one who defined the Marvel tone, not Whedon.
Emperor's New Groove hasn't aged a day. Still holds up as a fantastic comedy, and it's so beautifully drawn.
Completely agree. Vegas feels distinctly un-Bourne
The only good thing that can come of this is another How Did This Get Made? with Scotty Auks.
Uh, me. And most general audiences. The sequels are very different movies, but they're brilliant for what they are: cat and mouse chase movies.
That's what was sort of clever about this one. It was Nikki's fault that he got roped back into it, because he was off minding his own business and the government had lost interest in him.
Considering how much the Bourne series is about the CIA trying to keep tabs on him, I thought bringing in the concept of the government using social media for operations like that was a neat concept. But it never happened or mattered at all.
As a huge fan of the first three, and as someone who expected this to be hot garbage, I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised. The movie starts out with every single awful cliche about computer hacking in movies, and I was not psyched. But once the first set piece kicks in, I was into it. I forgot how much I enjoy the…
Ah, to be fair I mostly just watch his show in segments on YouTube. And I generally stick with the desk segments, like the political stuff. So I haven't seen Cartoon Trump.
I don't get this notion that he's any less funny on Late Night. He's not. It's really not even that different in tone, outside of the interviews.
This was a really insightful interview, well done
I'm always down for some good ol' Star Trek time travel nonsense.
Hold me, thrill me, kiss me, Kilmer
