The early test footage of Woody is so disturbing. He's a giant, malformed weirdo like the picture above, and Buzz is a small action figure.

Yeah, they're kind of doing the opposite of Season 1, it would seem. S1 started with a very simple murder, yet exploded into this deep web of characters and deceit. This time we're starting with a huge amount of moving pieces, that I think will start to coalesce into a simpler story as the season goes along.
I thought the waitress would get away and become an essential character, just like Molly seemed to be a bumbling sidekick yet unexpectedly became the protagonist at the end of Season One's premiere.
But…nope. The way her body flopped into the snow was just devestating.
The heart wants what the heart wants.
I said, "Oof…" out loud.
I hope that weight gain was on purpose.
Given last season's completely unexplained "fish raining from the sky" scene, I'm thinkin' we'll never know whether Kieren Culkin's character saw a UFO, but boy, how great would that be? Just straight-up aliens in the middle of this already-insane show?
Conan Doyle used "ejaculated" all the the time in his Sherlock Holmes stories; at first I was like, "Oh, I guess this was just a common expression back then," but then it started to be used with such frequency that I started to think he was just fucking with people.
That is a really cool runner that I never picked up on! This show, I tell ya.
I had totally forgotten about the crazy mystical knife that Dogan gives Sayid until this rewatch. There was something about that spiel he gives…"He will come in the form of someone you know. If you let him speak, it's already too late," that…
Now what will Call-In Pranks plug on Comedy Bang Bang? He's been talking about this doc since the podcast started 6 years ago.
Ohhhh I binge-watched it, too. It's going to be infuriating watching this season in real-time.
Of Nightmares…Into Darkness…
Considering the first season was one of the best seasons of television I've ever seen, I'm suitably pumped for this. I know literally nothing about the season other than that it takes place in the past, so I didn't read the review. I want to know nothing going in, just like I did for S1. I wonder if it will tie into…
I just miss Blockbuster. I miss picking out a movie and having to listen to the weird cashier while he showed me the baby pictures of himself that he keeps in his wallet (this is really a thing that happened to me on a regular basis at my local Blockbuster).
Does your mom chew a lot of Stride gum or something?
I'm an idiot and completely forgot that movie existed. Because I never saw it. WHY DID I NEVER SEE IT? *runs to blockbuster; stares at empty building; cries*
Spielberg is possibly my all-time favorite director, so I'm pretty psyched for this; plus, it's been awhile since Hanks has been in something worthwhile. Two of my favorite old people, united!
I can't tell if you actually want me to answer these but yes, all these things are answered in the show.

I LIKED IT AS THE FIRST PART OF A LARGER STORY. AND AS A WAY TO WATCH JENNIFER LAWRENCE FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME.
Just one. And it's me.
