Oh I don't think there's any question that Sherlock is a brilliant interpretation of the character, and better than the Ritchie movies. Their mysteries are far more compelling, and the performances are stellar. I'm also in the minority of non-Tumblr people that think its interpretation of Moriarty is fantastic.
I just

I thought Maguire was perfect casting, they just butchered the script.

I liked her alright…but it's so strange that the Sherlock series and the Guy Ritchie films made such a big deal out of that character. She truly was a minor character in the ACD stories. She was in one story, and briefly.

Yeah I think they're really fun movies. And fun to revisit—I've seen the first one several times, and the Moriarty stuff in the second one is strong.

"empty blockbuster excesses of the Sherlock Holmes series"
I just don't agree. I'm a huge fan of Conan Doyle's Holmes stories, but I still found those movies to be a lot of fun. The performances were brilliant, the chemistry between Downey and Law was great, they really nailed the "look" of London. Even though it was

Fuckin…dammit. That's what I get for not reading before, posting.

This is the greatest

If they don't release Identikit…those fuckers.
What other band has SO many brilliant songs that not only weren't on a proper album, but were never released period?
I had the privilege of hearing them play that song live. It was only like the second time they played it and I knew all the words. I think the people around

It really, was Dickhead. It really was.

It now strikes me that Thom Yorke was basically rockin' a Heisenberg hat for the King of Limbs stuff…

What's this yokel doing writing music for a play when he's got an album to finish?
The King of Limbs came out in 2011.
THAT'S A LONG TIME FOR ME TO NOT HAVE NEW RADIOHEAD.
I HAVE LITERALLY NOTHING ELSE TO LIVE FOR.

Well, Pitchfork has been itching to hand out another 10. If not for us, Kanye, do it for them.

"It's like poetry, it rhymes."

Drool.
If there is a more joyous sight to behold than Jim Henson-Puppet-Shop aliens, I haven't seen it.
Seriously, name one thing. ONE thing better.
The birth of your child? Fuck you.

Just wanted to point out that this guy actually nailed it, in a manner of speaking.

Yeah, this. Give him a Lifetime movie. It could be a thing of beauty.

Man, "Australia's the key to the whole game" is such a teasey line. Upon rewatch I think I audibly let out a "Pffft!"

Thanks for your reply! You've given me some stuff to chew on.
I think Suit Christian/Normal Christian is interesting, but then, Christian wasn't in a suit when he approached John at the Donkey Wheel tunnel and told him he'd have to die (that seems Smokey-like to me, but then I guess BOTH of them needed them to come

I've picked it up and put it down a few times. Very entertaining, I need to finish it.

Keep your stupid comments in your pocket.
