Wiseau is so…strange. I don't know how to feel about him anymore. The Room is such a masterpiece in miscalculation, and it works because it's genuinely, sincerely trying to be a great movie. Inadvertently, it gives you a glimpse into the very strange person who made it. Once it become ironically-loved, though, Wiseau

I speak with authority, then!

She talks about that in her book.

I've come to the conclusion that if you're attractive, have your life together and have no difficulty talking to people you're not a geek. Or a nerd. You're just a person that likes stuff. If that stuff happens to be videogames or comic books, who gives a shit?

It's like, jeez, if you like writing books so much write a book about it already!

Timeless! B+

You are correct regarding Michael having to leave at a different bearing, I checked. I think my theory checks out; in general, I'm surprised at how many things make a lot of sense in hindsight. I didn't realize when I first watched the series that the Incident caused the birthing problems. They never explicitly say

The Simpsons movie is legitimately one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. I thought every joke landed.

So, how do we think this is going to go? Story-wise, I mean.

As far as I'm concerned she should be in every show.

Damn, I really need to watch it. That and War Horse are the only two Spielberg movies I've never seen.
With Munich it's really just because I always forget he directed it.
War Horse, though…who wants to watch War Horse? Not me.

Good Night and Good Luck is a really fucking under-rated movie.

For all you weirdos going through comment sections 6 years after the episode aired:

Did they really? I don't remember that.
Although funnily enough during my last playthrough of Mario 64 I realized that all the signs outside Peach's Castle explain the controls of the game…I had just never bothered to read them.

I suppose this is the best place to post this. I'm rewatching the show and just got totally psyched at a realization I had (spoilers for the entire series, obvs)

There is nothing fucking "brave" about CGI talking animals. They've been a big thing for over a decade now.

I play games literally all the fucking time, but I don't call myself a gamer. I don't call myself a reader, or a film-buff either. I just like the stuff I like, and I don't think we need little categories with which to define ourselves. Hobbies should not be an IDENTITY.

The first thing I do when I play any game is press every button a few times to figure out what buttons do what.
I can't imagine why you WOULDN'T do that. I guess I just grew up with a lot of games without tutorials so you kind of had to.

Mario games never mention the run button.

Holy shit. Kill Screen LOVED this game, but it seems to be very divisive.
