Seeing that devious, immoral and often downright murderous bending unit doing kindergarten-level coloring and sticking his pages on the wall pushed both my comedy and my cuteness buttons.

Sure, but… he didn't gain anything by deceiving any of the people there with him at the moment it became evident he would have to sacrifice his own life, on account of the ostensible lack of an autopilot. It was really just a dick thing to do to them.

I don't understand why Bruce felt it was necessary to fake his death to any of those people.

I am deeply fond of this episode, but in my mind it's one of the worse offenders in the series when it comes to its exhibition of "small universe" syndrome. Which is to say, in a system with dozens of planets, hundreds of moons, and a plethora of inky blackness between them all, the same people manage to *just keep…

This word you use: "droll"… I do not think it means what you think it means…
Reading the future is cheating! I suppose I was wrong. I'm also disappointed. Pulling two punches in a row like that is so weak.
I'd wager a week's salary that Quinn's dead. Dianna Agron only had half a season left anyway before "graduation", and the writers wouldn't have pulled the punch on Karofsky's death except to set up the emotional stakes for a bigger tragedy to the fans. Especially the way they were raising her up to obviously come…
This is my first time watching Apprentice in any of its forms, mainly because I'm a big fan of Penn Jillette (and Mr. Teller… they are the classiest and most gracious performers I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, and I like to support them). So forgive me for treading what I'm sure is old ground here.
The Ellis stuff makes absolutely no sense to me. No assistant in his right mind would be deluded enough to think he could threaten his boss' *business partner* under the assumption that his boss would somehow choose the assistant (who he pays and is replaceable) over the partner (who is irreplaceable and also…
A big part of my problem with the show is that Nick just isn't very likeable. He's been called out on multiple occasions as being a dick to his supposed "friend" Eddie, who's also his only and best line to the creature world and is constantly sticking his neck out of Nick, for reasons I can't seem to perceive.
I think the moment they
lost me beyond all hope was when they had the audition scene, and
*everybody* did the whole lean-in-with-slowly-building-wonder
thing that is supposed to be how we-the-audience are cued to know that
this woman is *special* (because really how else would we), and they are
all discovering her…
I sniggered at the folding of programs for "Are You There, God? It's Me, Improv"
I actually liked the confrontation between Dwight and Robert California. There was a good moment of tension for me when he first started going for the Cowardly Lion routine and I genuinely couldn't be sure what the outcome would be. (I loved Spader's nuanced performance here, too, taking his time going for the medal,…
Herschel desperately wants to get rid of them, but lets them spend weeks searching for Sophia when he knows there's a girl that perfectly matches her description in the barn, even after the secret of the barn gets out? Sure, why not. They establish that sound alerts the zombies, and that there are clearly still…
"Sorry, we've already got a George."
I didn't read the Kevin line as stupidity, just him being snarky in response to aggression. He had been doing the research, after all.
I found this episode almost entirely unbearable to watch. Bring Sheldon's mom in and there's no escaping the barrage of lame jokes about political correctness.
