I can't be the only one who thought this headline read "The Greatest Snowman" and thought it was going to be about Frosty

It seems to me that all these Marvel Netflix shows start off really strong with tons of promise and then flounder in the back half. It's like they initially succeed by smashing the conventions of the superhero genre, only to ultimately retreat and succumb to those same conventions.

This episode knocked my wife out of the Little Drummer Boy game. The look of horror on her face when it played was worse than Oliver's when his fiancée was about to be gassed.

"Leela's … job is typically to roll her *eye*"

I, for one, can't wait until the season three episode when the S.H.I.E.L.D. team is at the end of their rope, they are utterly out of hope and out of options, defeat is certain…

So wait, this wasn't parodying an actual show, but rather just the genre of procedurals? I thought it was riffing on an actual show like the Law and Order episode did, and I just wasn't familiar with it. Lots of stuff that appeared to be specific to something in particular (such as the stylized titles).

So it was YOU in that parking lot… you owe me two hundred bucks, you bastard.

Just gotta jump in to give props to Megan Mullaly's delivery of "oh I see what's going on here."

"There’s only so much excitement you can generate from watching nice people turn mean as they die slow."

My friends and I still say "I'm sad cause I'm flying."

The episode had its ups and downs for me. Rob Cordry's enthusiasm as he kept appearing everywhere and then increasing frustration as he couldn't keep up with the pace of the show kept it fun for me. I didn't think they needed to call out the joke specifically but Lake Bell's out-of-focus takes to the camera made up

I want to like this show. I'm trying pretty hard, but it's not making it easy for me.

The light switch gag was excellent.

My DVR missed it. Is it available online anywhere? I tried the Adult Swim website but only found a "sneak peak"… :(

I feel the same way. It could be another fake-out.

Am I the only one that thought the mural looked terrible?

Holy cow, I had to look up the actress playing Mona Lisa since I didn't recognize her from anything (other than the one other episode of P&R I remember her from). Jenny Slate took that bit part and rocked the socks off of it. I hope she finds her way into a proper recurring role; that woman is damn talented.

Ellie Kemper continues to be the best thing on this show since Michael Scott; her tantrum and freaking out at Clark were great, but I also love the little things she does with such earnesty, like her grabbing the pens in the cold open.

The problem I had with the puppets is that the cast all have super expressive faces that were totally lost on the felt. Donald Glover in particular had some would-have-been-great lines that I had to picture him saying in order to even get.
