Pretty much, Mr. Fthagn. For one, the bear seemed to be the only death that brought about any real sorrow in anyone. There were times when a killing made people angry or disturbed, but I don't recall a lot of tears being shed over any of them. The little girl, however, was deeply upset about the death of the bear.

Also, I'll never be able to forget the image of the Judge draped in meat or the puppies with too many eyes.
