It doesn't help that the lead character is incredibly unlikeable. I wanted to enjoy it, but I just couldn't. For me, it's probably the biggest disappointment of the year.

Saw Not Fade Away at a screening a few days ago, and it was fucking terrible. James Gandolfini is decent, but the rest of movie is just . . . yikes. Really expected something better from David Chase's big-screen debut.
