I laughed pretty hard at Peter needing to complete a task so he wouldn't have to show the audience his balls.

The gag about Bart having no rules on the dance floor is indicative of the humor in this segment: appealingly silly without being outright funny. <<
They may also be pro-Shah, actually, since many of them benefited from the Shah regime and fled the revolution to protect their wealth/heads; here in LA a lot of them will openly express hope that Iran return to a monarchy. So, hearing them discuss Iranian politics will probably only make them look worse.
I like how Stewie, a baby in 2012, coincidentally enjoys the same toys that the Family Guy writers born in the late 1970s/early 1980s enjoyed.
I found this review of OUATIA by Dana Knowles (who I'm not familiar with otherwise) a long time ago and thought it had some great insight, in case you're interested in it: http://www.aboutfilm.com/mo…
No no, I meant Back to Black, not for Amy to have covered the AC/DC album. …or DID I?
Aw, that sucks. I wasn't expecting another Back in Black, but I was hoping for at least one more good album. Poor Amy Winehouse.
Totally agree. "I liked the new Karate Kid. It reminded me of my youth, growing up in South Carolina, FIGHTIN' CHINESE KIDS!"
So I guess when HBO has a conflict between graphic violence and gratuitous lesbian nudity, graphic violence wins out. This spells trouble for when Real Sex goes to Waziristan.
All the more reason to cheer for the SEC, vandermonde! If Big Orange can't hack it this year, it's because we're in SUCH a good conference that we're blameless! Yeah, that's the reason! Yeah! We're TOO good! (sobs)
Well, it sounds like they really took some liberties with the remake, but as long as Betsy Russell gets naked in it again, I'm in.
The jokes were definitely my favorite part. Especially Cartman sobbing while reciting the yo-mom-so-poor jokes, just brilliant.
I totally agree, the sudden reveal of him in the backseat and her utter calmness at seeing him there is still one of the most terrifying things I've ever seen on TV. To this day, every time I get in a car at night I get a little freaked out to look into the rearview mirror.
The long slow shot of a supremely powerful and utterly alone Michael Corleone at the end of Godfather Part II needs some mention here.
Yeah, this. This has to be the number one unhappy ending of all unhappy endings.
Aw, why the Paz de la Huerta hate? I'm no fan of the storyline, I'd much rather this be all Godfather-style maneuverings, but I thought she did a great job in this episode.
It was very neat to see her social and political skills suddenly all come together in this episode. Now that she's had her Michael-Corleone-at-the-hospital moment, I'm hoping she becomes a key part of the maneuvering for the rest of the season.
One thing that was really weird was why the white community was so furious about Chalky shooting a white man without any explanation about how the white community was reacting to the fact that the white man was gunning down Chalky's men like bottles. Were most people just not told what happened? Were they told and…
Guns-a-blazin', the old-fashioned way!
Welcome back, Simpsons! I'm with you to the bitter end. THE BITTEREST END.
