Yeah, this review is kind of surprising.  New Cult Canon, 2014: This movie looked stupid, so nobody saw it in theaters, but it was actually awesome and now everybody owns the DVD.

Yeah that bugged me a lot in Dark Knight Rises too: where's the blood?  In a movie with that much violence, they trust us to handle panic in the streets, a fascist/anarchic society in America, terrorist attacks, but god forbid a few squibs go off?  It's downright distracting.
