I don't know…the Nogitsune isn't omniscient? He would have to know that the guy with the silver finger was in town, that there was that 150,000 around, etc. And so wouldn't he need a host for that kind of information? Basically, I'm not entirely clear on the host / parasite relationship here, so for now I like the

I believe it is Black Widow from a Marvel Comic (probably from the mid-2000s). I got this in the days of livejournal and I still like it.

It shouldn't take an entire day to figure out what they intended by that last scene. (Although I'm being critical, I'm still enjoying this season, I just have felt kind of let down by the last two eps since that one Stiles-centric episode was so amazing).

Basically, trying to actually treat the show like a mystery is such an insane prospect because we never know if something was intentional or if it was badly expressed. And I don't think it is the audience's fault…the logic of the show has been bent / broken so many times, it is hard at the end of an episode like that

Tumblr once again leads the way — someone pointed out that if Malia can make her eyes change (as she proves she can at the end of the episode) than she can *already* shift and, therefore, she's feeding Stiles a load of garbage to get something she wants.

See, I must have seen that and somehow forget I saw it. Or Alison didn't react enough for me and it was a missed opportunity for drama.

I believe it but it just seems like the most absurd choice — there's so much drama in finding out shit like this I can't understand why they would do it off screen.

A few folks I follow on tumblr, think it's likely he *didn't* lose his virginity and I have to agree based on the fact this show would make a really big deal out of it (since he's Stiles and he's the last virgin on the show),

Because they like to torture us with the thought that Stiles would get hotter when turned. (Honestly, I get frustrated with a lot of the logic on this show).

hmmmm….there was this great line from Derek about how he didn't think Stiles was smart enough to frame him for murder which I assumed was foreshadowing that Alison really did it. (Although, personal opinion, Stiles is totally smart enough to do that, but he wouldn't know about the 150,000 dollars, nor would he know

Yeah, but it seems weird to me to end an episode unless it was supposed to be a really ominous note. This just doesn't seem creepy enough an explanation for me (unless they are setting up something season 4-y, because the preview didn't seem to have any Malia in it).

SPECULATION SPOILERS (DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT LIKELY SPOILERS BASED ON LAST NIGHTS TRAILER)

Here's my reading the Malia situation (I'm just going to skip over the developmental issues she should have, 'cause, ya know, TEEN WOLF or whatever):

Yup, pretty much. Christmas is coming in April for this little superhero fan!

It's a Josh Charles thing. Probably. (basically, if you go back to Sports Night he's the non-dick-ish male lead. I know a lot of other viewers who watched SN latched on to that character and now feel an unfortunate pull towards Will as a result).

Someone on tumblr pointed out they are probably talking about the other agent who died in Eastern Europe, not another brother. But yes, when that first happened I was confused as well. Clearly, the dialogue needed some tweaking.

Oh man. That makes me happy. Love Brubaker's run on Captain America, really enjoyed the first film. So excited for April.

The loss of professionalism you discuss really resonates with me. It bothers me because they built up Alicia's skills as a lawyer (and Will's as well) and now they all seem like high school "mean girls" masquerading as adults. And that just doesn't sit right with me.

Did people learn nothing from Smallville? That ended up being a terrible problem for that show because it stunted character growth and common sense.

I do agree that things are much more….on the surface, now, is the way I'd put it. I'm having a bit of trouble with the new tone because for years both Alicia and Will never actually had a real conversation about emotions. Everything was always implied, hinted at, never spoken.
