My guess is that he doesn't notice them.
My guess is that he doesn't notice them.
I dislike that Oliver's reason for Penny being Leonard's ideal match is that she's the "dumb blonde [he] wanted but could never have". It just highlights how that relationship is more wish-fulfillment than a bond between emotional and intellectual equals. And that Penny rarely has more character traits than pretty and…
A DM I knew had quite an elaborate set of rules for simulating intercourse in Dungeons & Dragons. There were grapple checks, dexterity bonuses, and the male had to make a Will save every round. Don't neglect your Wisdom score, gentlemen.
Only BMO could make a musical miscarriage so effing adorable.
Due to erratic Fox scheduling, we're celebrating their 75th episode next week.
I don't like that Irene has been reduced to device that explains away Sherlock's motivation, but I also don't want to her to go the way of other adaptations and be blown out of proportion. She was in one short story, but certain adaptations would have her as the third most important character in the series.
Huh. I really had the opposite reaction. There were a lot of interesting plots to move in this episode, but none were given much time to breathe. And the dialogue felt largely like exposition to be endured before we could resume the plot.
Odd thing is, this episode had Sheldon as the least overtly obnoxious he's been for some time. His whole schtick this week was glee at meeting his childhood idol, and any time he overstepped some personal boundary it was more him being zealous than being a deliberate prick.
My high school had one, but it wasn't so much people's parents as random adults who volunteered to talk about their jobs. Some dude's dad was a mortician, which just beat the hell out of legal secretary.
Her delivery on that "Shut up!" when she learned about the potato clock was sort of amazing. Best non-Bob-Newhart line of the night.
I've been called a Sheldon before. I can see how people who catch a glimpse of this show might confuse him for a more generic nerd. (If Big Bang Theory characters were used to type people like Sex and the City characters were, I'd be more a Leonard than a Sheldon.)
@PugsMalone:disqus , you deserve all the likes in the world for that wonderful assist.
I agree with the sentiment. It's a dismissive phrase people use in place of jokes or valid criticism. So is "jumped the shark".
This show is introducing me to a lot of careers I may have pursued had I known they existed.
My other favorite Jake line in the same vein: "I feel like I could reach the heavens…and sock angels!"
During Penny's speech about what she was passionate about, I really expected her to say drinking.
I need you to understand how thankful I am that you explained that. And also how sorry.
I'm not sure if I laughed harder at Gunter producing a taser or Ice King being so entranced by the princess he created himself that it warranted a taser.
I originally read this episode title as Potluck Princess and was expecting a reprise of Princess Monster Wife. I was a tad let down.
Tom Kenny earned his paycheck with that extended phone call gag.
