If only to see her interact with other characters.

I'll give Glee this: it's pretty equal opportunity fan service.

I know the writers don't want to label anyone but Finn (and perhaps Susan Strong) as human, but they have no problem whipping up humanoid-but-not-quite character designs.

Quick, BMO, fetch your bank robber costume!

That was some delicious tonal whiplash right there. That whole scene was an exercise in how far they could pull the audience in either direction.

Ooo is more socially progressive than the country we live in? Yes, yes it does.

I think it works for BMO since A) Niki Yang's voice is effing adorable, and B) the syncopated speech pattern adds to BMO's robot-ness, so even emotionally moving sentences sound less emotional and human than BMO would prefer.

My high school career days were sadly lacking in horse whisperers and sexy hitmen.

@Sean C : Point, but even then the show felt like it was trying to have its cake and eat it too. They said it was inappropriate, but at no point did anyone try to stop the elaborate song and dance routine that involved teenage girls dancing in lingerie to a domestic abuse victim.

"I Remember You" also focused on music as a way to connect people. It was also soul-crushingly sad. I would vote for that for things it doesn't even qualify for, like the Nobel Prize for Chemistry.

Never have I seen someone nominate something then immediately cast scorn on the fans for making it the winner. Is this what the MTV movie awards makers felt like for several years?

Oh yeah, I usually say computer programmer. But if anyone ever asked me when I was caring for sick jungle cats in between stand-up routines I'd be like "This."

Glee's gotten to the point where Poe's Law has started applying. Several years ago I think I joked that Ryan Murphy was so responsive to fan input he'd start giving away small roles in contests.

How many ways can Probst try to bring back Russel and/or Boston Rob? Stop validating them as people!

I want to take this comment and plaster it above every college dorm between California and New York.

Dammit, wasn't this the show that thought Katy Perry's "I Kissed A Girl" was an empowering ode to female (homo)sexuality? The one they sang when a lesbian cheerleader was publicly outed, then spent more time praising the guy who outed her for encouraging her to be herself?

This episode reminded me of perhaps my favorite Belle & Sebastian song, "Dirty Dream Number Two". It has no right to be so whimsical and charming for how damn filthy it is.

That username…

This may be one of the few times that the 11-minute format actually helped with the theme of the episode. It showed all the journeys, adventures, and little deaths that could be packed into a short dream and put our petty real-world problems into perspective. Kudos, show.

Dammit, we really need another episode with those kids. My first reaction to that episode's ending was glee that Jake wouldn't be tethered down, but, but…I've come to miss those corndogs.
