jeez, I wonder if Benjamin Arthur will actually wear pants in this show

there are few things in life as erotic as bashing in a seal's face with a club, then harvesting the seal's blubber to be used as fuel to heat your igloo, then making love in said igloo. (FYI, a seal oil lamp is called a kudliq… the more you know)

What I find daring about the show is that it's the only show I know of that's set in Canada and marketed to Americans. So many movies and tv shows shoot in Canadian cities and try to pass them off as American (beautiful background shots of the mountains surrounding Vancouver in Jackie Chan's "Rumble in the Bronx"

you lost me…

I liked Margaery's reaction to Sansa's self-chastisement, calling herself a stupid girl. Margaery just smiled and didn't disagree.

I rather liked Nina's turn at the end, and I thought it made a lot of sense for her character. This was really the first decision that she's made for herself all season. For myself, i didn't see it so much as a plot contrivance, but more as a character whose life is spinning out of control trying to assert some sort

I want a gigantic wooden carving of Thor for my living room.

I have to agree that the Jarl is definitely the weak link in the show, and hopefully he dies next week and King Aella can replace him as the main antagonist. So the problem with the Media are video games released for the Sega Genesis? Not the ceaseless parade of aspirational imagery and advertising  we're exposed to on an hourly basis? "You too, can become beautiful, rich and successful if you buy Noma lightbulbs (or insert generic consumer product)"

When I read  that initially I thought "doesn't she mean to use 'underpin' rather than undergird?" then I looked up the definitions and "underpin" is more of a technical term and "undergird" is more poetic. LEARNING ROCKS!

No worries. It's just jokes. I'm actually glad to have learned that I should be blaming Firefox.

Admittedly, I'm not prepared for the coming Technological Singularity
