I loved Walt and Hank's interaction this episode, starting with their conversation on the couch.  Walt sits there like a kid about to be scolded. Then he tells Hank they were both out in the woods (Hank marking, Walk camping), but now they're self-actualizing as diametric opposites.

Even then, I guess they didn't really restore his records or times.  This "Smithsonian Magazine" piece is excellent and talks about how they pretty much just made him an asterisk on the winners list.

I haven't gone back to look at them in a long time, but I remember loving the sketchy artwork.  However I also seem to remember most jokes were based on he and Green Bone's alcoholism. But really I'm just happy someone else remembers it.

-The movie "Bingo," about some dog who wore sunglasses
-MadBallz
-Gremlins (I'm pretty confident we'll get a "Gremlins 3" one of these days)
-anything on TGIF
-a Nintendo game called "Totally Rad"
-Ronin Warriors
-Gargoyles (were those last two actually good?)
-Sinbad (of course the comedian)
-a comic book called "Ralph Snart"

I was just happy for a funny episode again.  I always love this show, but for me, it's at its best when combining that David Lynch absurdism with non sequitur-laden jokes.  The previous few episodes seemed more like anthropological documentaries than comedy.

NBC line of the night (again, during USA gymnastics):  "He just has to catch the bar a bunch of times and find his feet on the floor."

My favorite competition on NBC's online stream was Me Getting To See The Race Before It Ended vs. Buffering.

The NBC announcers' line of the night:  "She is known to be a fierce competitor."  (In reference to a Team USA gymnast, as opposed to all other Olympians)

"There and Bat Again"?

"There and Bat Again"?

I don't get it.  Was Frodo supposed to be Robin or Nightwing?
