But in the eyes of the Survivor cult, he can do no wrong. And the head of programming certainly sees it as a very light price to pay for its return.
“...a decade on, humanity remains captivated by the 2009 saga of Balloon Boy...”
I've never liked Kubrick, and no one will ever convince me otherwise. He made boring slogfests dotted with iconic moments.
Your opinion is less unpopular than you think.

According to these comments, apparently my distaste for the film can probably be attributed to never seeing it in a theater. I generally consider it to be an overlong trip toy with 15 minutes of the 20th century’s best cinema (the confrontation with HAL) near the end.
Right. He isn’t evil at all and takes great offence to being thought of as so. He is a narcissist, so he doesn’t come off as being the best person, that’s for sure, but he absolutely isn’t evil or untrustworthy. Punishing evil (which he doesn’t enjoy the torture aspect of, which is what makes it his eternal punishment…
I don’t understand what you’re trying to say about Lucifer Morningstar from Lucifer. Lucifer is neither evil nor untrustworthy. He is most definitely bi—sexual. His honesty is an important part of his character.
*throws up hands in despair*
I keep forgetting that Felix Gaeta is in this show.
Agree with pretty much all of this. I was a bit surprised by the inconsistencies in judging, particularly when certain queens where told their last look wasn’t “monster enough” and yet Brooke and Yvie got heaps of praise about some, frankly, gimmicky first looks and then bombed the MILF look themselves. Does that mean all the usual whiners will be over there...
I encourage you to be careful with your phrasing. Saying that there’s a “choice to wallow” in a role can sound judgy and I am assuming that’s not your intent. I’m a psychologist who studies sexual offenses and work extensively with both offenders and survivors, so I’ll try to answer your question from that perspective.
I think that BioWare doesn’t WANT to make open world games, but they have to because that’s the company mandate. EA axed Visceral’s Star Wars game specifically because it wasn’t open world and they wanted to capitalize on that, since they lack a hit in that genre and they want something that can be turned into a…
Yep.
Yeah, I’m finding these responses to be really surprising. I guess it seems like moving in together suggests that everything in the relationship is working pretty well and mostly will continue the way it has been and that any changes you make will have to be specifically stated. I’m not sure how someone waiting until…
I hear ya. Also though, she is the one coming with the problem. It’s also her side of the story we’re hearing. Obviously, they should break up due to incompatibility regardless of who is at fault. Maybe this was not preventable from her side and he really did just 180 on her, but the only lesson I can think she can…
It’s easy to say “what’s the big deal” when talking about Game & Watch fire attack in the abstract, but its operating in several real world contexts, including centuries of genocide, oppression, and ongoing discrimination against indigenous people. For just as long, stereotypes have been used to denigrate and deny…
