Ugh, Uldum. I was watching Raiders this past weekend and kept getting annoyed when it reminded me of the plot of that zone. It retroactively ruined Raiders for me.

What DOES Jasper want? Her actions so far are pretty illogical. She tries to fuse with Lapis, then collects some gems for an army and immediately attacks Beach City? She doesn't seem to care about her mission from Yellow Diamond, and she doesn't seem all that dedicated to fighting Rose/Steven either, since she keeps

Given that there's a six man team you're free to swap between at any point, hundreds of characters, hundreds of moves (some of which you have to breed for generations to get), a ridiculously complicated chart of elemental types with weaknesses, strengths, and immunities, where individual characters can have two

I'm an outlier on the New Vegas dlc - love Dead Money, lukewarm to hate the rest.

I'm actually a little depressed we (almost certainly) won't get another game in the Milky Way. Pick any of the end states from 3 and run with it - the new status quo would be rich with storylines, none of which hinge on a being of pure evil.

Aww man, you've got me wanting to play MGS3 again! It's a tossup between 3 and Peace Walker for my favorite in the series. Enjoy playing 4, and take your time going through. It's very much a game that wants you to play around in the environments it creates, rather than hustle (or crouch walk) from objective to

Yeah, I found the first case ESPECIALLY bad. Between Detective Conan and Phoenix Wright I do know that the "message that doesn't make sense" trope doesn't often translate perfectly into English, but I made the connection almost immediately (only slowed down because of my unfamiliarity with the cast). Eh, first case,

I'll be playing and, I assume, finishing Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. I'm way behind the visual novel curve, but my tenant was playing 999, which reminded me I'd wanted to play Danganronpa for a while, and it was on sale for the Steam sale, so there you go.

I'm rather of the opinion the Reapers were a terrible choice for the villains of the series. Bioware spends tons of time creating a universe filled with drama between the different species of the galaxy, with plenty of shades of gray, and then makes the bad guys a completely unambiguously evil, unfathomable race of

I think Jack and the Beanstalk is the better one - the Santa framing story is exactly the same, but the Jack version is a pretty OK community theater play, and I find the songs better. Plus the actors are playing against other actors, instead of faceless animal masks. There's a fair amount of padding though.

I was just being coy, I knew that already. I've been a fan for a while, but I like the wistful tone that I see in his comics.

I thought I recognized the style!

Vanguards are fantastic in ME2, even on insanity, but they're very high risk/reward so you end up dying quite a bit as you get it down. Try to find enemies on the fringes of battle, preferably near cover, take them down with a charge and shotgun blast to the face, then pop behind cover and repeat. Perfectly executed,

I remember hanging around the Vote for the Worst site back when I was working at a nonprofit. As I remember, it was a pretty fun combination of snark and genuine affection for the good performers. One contributor always gave really fantastic, insightful breakdowns of performers and what techniques they were using.

I remember feeling at the time viewers loved Alyssa, and was a little surprised that Ivy won. To be fair, while Alyssa might have won a popularity contest, she could be downright NASTY on the show, and frequently came across as mean spirited - not really the one you think of for Miss Congeniality.

I think she won by default! MC can't be one of the top three, so Alaska and Jinkx were out. Detox was fabulous but generally pretty bitchy, Coco and Alyssa were constantly feuding, and most of the rest of the cast failed to make much of an impact.

Ranking the Snatch Games!!

Wow, I'd completely forgotten about Ivy as Marilyn! There were SO many bad performances in that one.

According to Thorgy at a viewing party, Derrick was hilarious and most of that was edited out. That plus the very enthusiastic reception the judges gave her make me lean towards editing. But I do like Derrick, so I'm a little biased.

I'm thinking (and hoping) with the fewer queens, we may go back to the season 5 schedule - so top four will be the ball, and there will be a top three in the video episode. I think that might lower Chi Chi's odds a little, but with Betty gone my predictions are all out of whack now.
