This is really well stated, and even if it does not really make me automatically like the songs, it does help me appreciate the album from a thematic standpoint. I listened to it a few more times today, and I don't ever think I will grow to love it, but I am coming to appreciate it a bit more.

Maybe it is because I absolutely love The Monitor, but I am pretty disappointed with this. I think it is repetitive and a little bit boring. Again, my expectations were probably unrealistically high, but I am just not feeling it. Upon Viewing Oregon's Landscape With The Flood Of Detritus is pretty good.
