Friday… really hurt me. i still liked High and Elise and Deep Green Sea, but Friday… ugh. i'd been a huge Cure fan for many years. but Friday hit me pretty much the same way that REM's "Shiny Happy People" did, a few months prior. it was a line i would not cross.
I burned a 2CD version of Beach + the B-sides from Join the Dots; I wish they'd done a proper CD like that back in the day.
