I don't know if this is anything anybody except other language nerds would care about, but I saw this here in Japan, and the way movies are made with international audiences in mind has been coming up a lot recently, so I was thinking about that a lot.

Why couldn't they have just released some of the hybrid lizardman experiments instead? Some of those guys are sweethearts.

Well that was a strikingly, quietly sad cartoon episode.

It kind of bugged me that that was so blatant, like Avatar calling the special mineral Unobtanium.

But they never asked for this.

The tiny hat dance is a thing of beauty.

Especially because Ann was consciously tormenting April with friendship. Mean Ann is the best Ann.

I love the episode with all his wives because no two of them has the same accent.

It's too bad, because their design is really cool.

The one mine wouldn't play was TKO. I'm lucky that way.

Garibaldi gets points just for how Londo calls him "Meester Garibaldi."

It explains a lot of the weird attempts at emotion and resolution if you work with the hypothesis that Seth MacFarlane has never actually met a person.
