As soon as I found out that their name is all French and whatnot, I knew they weren't for me. When I then heard them I was pleasantly surprised that I was right.

I sat 3rd row center (well, there was a seat there) and saw George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars in 1995.Mond blown, Mothership connected, indeed.  I can die happy.

I was lucky enough to see the second to last show ever the Sat. Soldier Field show. However, at the time, my friends who had seen many more shows than I complained about how bad the  show was I believe Jerry completely forgot Tennesse Jed's lyrics or some such and was looking disheveled to say the least. And I had

My problem with outdoor festivals is that it seems no matter where I set up my blanket and sit, it is the path for which everyone else in the place walks through to get to the bathroom, concessions, merch, etc. I must give off some sort of "Don't mind me, just block my view constantly" pheremone.

Apparantly you guys aren't much into the jam bands. They've been offering this for several years now.

Agreed there. While I was upset he died. I was more upset I never went to see them. Mortality is a bitch…

Out of Gas was great. I like that it was just one little part missing that caused such a catastophic system failure. As opposed to the once a season (at least it felt like) core breach/engine melt down of the Star Trek series…. you would think that something so dangerous and volitile would have better failure

My favorite episode is with Alice Cooper where he's trying to get the cast to sell their souls to the devil. What a great show.

That first episode of Ken Burn's Civil War was a classic. My middle school mind was blown and now I am a under-employed history teacher. Thanks for nothing Ken Burns!

"The Train Job" from Firefly has all the good stuff from that show. The moral ambiguity, Niska the crime lord, shooting, the usual pithy quotes. Good times!

My thing with the Police is that it seems (at least with their singles) is that every song has repeated lyrics to ridiculous illogical extremes and then a fade out… Sting Copeland and Summers could really write some catchy hooks, but geeze Louise, could they have padded out the songs any more????

I actually got a good old Califone with the naugahyde exterior and big clunky lid from the school I was working at as they finally got rid of them from storage. I paid $5. Took me back to my childhood as my parents were teachers and gave me one back in the 80's from their school. I say go with a gently used old school
