That's what make their characters all the more tragic. I don't think Jack could have done anything else but defeat them, as they weren't going to give up.

I think he'll be horrified when he finds out, and worry that he owes child support or something. lol

I'm sure she survived, and Jack will help her down that path (of which she's already suspected) of realizing that the world is more complicated than she expects.

True, but since they weren't going to choose NOT to try and kill Jack every chance they got, he didn't have much choice but to defend himself and erase the threat.

I thought they might go the predictable route of having him face one per episode, but I'm glad they took care of that in one episode. Now the future plotline has more possibilities.
