I … don't think I am acting like that?
I … don't think I am acting like that?
The powers that be were afraid of my fearless posting of old Stone Cold clips.
Eh, it's not just him. But yeah, this is where we get into vocal minorities inside the vocal minorities, I guess.
So … I think we all should be careful when it comes to rating the importance of the comments section. Don't get me wrong: I love the WOT comments community. There's a reason I'm an active participant, and not just on my WOT day. But it's worth keeping in mind that most readers aren't all that interested in reading the…
I see your argument, but I think (a) as a general principle, articles really *ought* to have someone other than the writer give them a once-over before publishing (though that's still not really possible with TV Club stuff) and (b) you may not fall into this camp, but there's a pretty long history of AVC commenters…
For what it's worth, the WOT format is legitimately really weird and could seriously do with a revamp. I'm also not sure the 1 a.m. publish time really has a good argument behind it other than inertia, though I'll admit that's not nothing.
Even I think we should just get on with it and do it at this point.
See? We'll get through this just fine!
Oh, I think there'll still be a place for lengthy insane ramblings. It's like 90% of the WOT brand at this point.
The idea is this will allow WOT to be copy-edited. And yes, I realize a good chunk of the fun for your guys is mocking us for mistakes, but we'll just have to cope with this one together.
It's all good, the review was pretty much over.
Is it really that strange? The rise of premium/prestige cable shows has given us a lot of 13-episode seasons, which may primarily be a budgetary thing but tends to make for more tightly written seasons. And we're now seeing more short-run shows on network, including stuff like Agent Carter and (I believe) Legends of…
Yeah, the Dexter was strong in this episode. Not as strong as that one serial killer episode from early in season 2 that I just hated (though I know some people quite liked it!), but still.
Neal McDonough didn't have to say anything, true, but that doesn't change the fact that he should always be saying something. His over-the-top line deliveries are just too good to waste.
I mean, my first job was writing for Gawker Media, so I'm personally biased, and I'll cop to thinking they're in the right, at least in a Constitutional sense. But that point wasn't meant to be sympathetic to Gawker as much as just saying, whatever one's opinions on the merits of the decision, I think we can all agree…
Top Pick
Is it too late to claim that's the deal FX cut with us for Fargo season 2?
If you think the frigging Top Pick in What's On Tonight is something that can be unethically monetized, my goodness do we need to sit down and have a long, long talk…
Oh yeah, Guy Pearce definitely got a more than fair shot. Doesn't mean I still can't be bummed he never quite made it.

"My god, Triple H looks like he's seen a ghost. And not like that time I said it after Roman Reigns came back after three weeks' absence, this one is legitimately shocking!"
"C'mon Maggle, that's not C.M. Punk, that's a picture of C.M. Punk!"
