I haven't worked there in close to four years, so I don't exactly have much pull over there. I'd imagine its cessation/hiatus is down to the writer moving on or what I am given to understand is the ongoing reorganization of the place.

Oh, it's done quite well overall. There's just no real cheating around the fact that Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis obviously aren't the same person and, prosthetics be damned, don't look all *that* much like each other, so it looks a little silly when they cut from balding but long-haired Gordon-Levitt to

Yep. Take a number and I should get to your complaints … eventually.

Duly noted.

I keep forgetting that even long-timers (a) might not be aware of/interested in the insider-y stuff like the esoteric definition of "top pick" and (b) really, really, really love to complain. (Often with good cause!)

She (along with Annalee Newitz) is probably the person most responsible for giving me my start as a professional writer, seeing as how I got my start at io9 as an intern and then worked my way up to full-timer. She's nice!

And I occasionally highlight the hockey games in the Tuesday WOT! I think I've done it at least twice in the last couple months, which isn't bad. (Not going to argue it's *good*, but it's not bad.) I'm just at a point where I know close to *nothing* about the NHL these days, and it's only so much fun faking my way

(Psst: Top pick just means "This was an at least semi-notable premiere on tonight." But hey this seems like it might be worth a watch!)

Oh, I just wish I was Sipowicz.

It's almost like we took all your attempts to destroy us too seriously!

I'm not sure the show did a super great job articulating that, but sure, I can buy that.

Yeah, I know a lot of people worth respecting really dug that show, but it just never did very much for me, even after the character development.

I was always pretty ambivalent toward it, but then suburban sorta-satire never does very much for me.

This season's flashbacks are an order of magnitude better than last season's flashbacks, I'll give them that much. And the Constantine flashbacks were pretty sharp. Other than that … it's been all downhill since that kickass freighter fight in season 2.

Yeah, but it feels somehow different to kill a child in the flashbacks than in the present day. Like you spin almost any atrocity in the flashback as some formative thing for Oliver's development, but the same happening now would just be bleak.

To me, he'll always be "That guy I kind of remember from Suburgatory, a show I barely remember."

"Hi guys! Long time no see!"

Wait, does the brotherly connection and lack of manipulation make it more reasonable to keep Andy captive, or less?

Silent or not, the disappointment is deafening.

If this comment implicitly means that I count as a decent reviewer, I'll count this entire fiasco as a Pyrrhic victory.
