(Original Questioner). Actually, when I was thinking of the question at first, I was pondering shows where the lead kinda sucks but you watch anyways because the supporting cast is so strong or compelling that it makes up for it. I sure as hell wasn't watching Lost for Jack and Kate.

Actually, before I stumbled across this post, I had no idea what the hell to get my mom for Mother's Day. (Seriously, Susan Boyle, get off yer ass and put out an album in time for Christmas!).

Devo's easy listening covers album is actually pretty great. You could probably sneak it in at your house for Christmas and Mom would never notice.

Well, speaking as the mother of a 4yo rabid Batman fan who has seen every ep of The Batman multiple times over, I can say this for it: I do like their version of Bruce Wayne. Of course, BW as decent/relatively-well-adjusted human being is a little … off.

"Outrageous!", indeed — best Aquaman, ever. OK, maybe that sounds like faint praise. The first episode of BatB I ever saw was "Journey to the Center of the Bat" and I was hooked, primarily because of their fantastic take on Aquaman.

sarCCastro: Speaking of "old people" shows, my afore-post-mentioned husband claims that Human Target is an exciting action show … for old people. Particularly old people who do not yet realize they are old.

My husband was at the computer the other day and piped up, "Hey! You didn't tell me they added two new hot chicks to Human Target!" And I replied, "Oh, yeah, sorry, I forgot. Didn't think it was important."
