Simply for that line and his whole performance in that movie alone, Fred should have a lifetime pass to take care of business wherever and in front of whomever he pleases.

Really wouldn't have known much about the man, if it weren't for his appearance ("I know they aren't viewers" (MaTES) recently on a bunch of my favorite podcasts. He did several with Pete Holmes on his You Made it Weird podcast, the most recent in November after a stint in rehab. Maron also just rereleased an

Saw them open for the Pogues a couple of years ago. Was already a fan of TA after relentlessly listening to first album and was stunned by the combined bill.

After watching Dillahunt play those two different supporting roles in Deadwood (which I did not even realize were the same actor until the finale of season 2), I was sure this guy had an epic future.

Are earlier seasons of this show available for streaming anywhere without having to buy whole seasons?

Not sure how I feel about this now, but I think the first album I bought with my own money was Love and Rockets in like 8th grade, I think it was Express. Heard Ball of Confusion somewhere and felt the need I guess.

Just wanted to use this as another unsolicited pretense to express my refound love of Wierd Al.

Ok, time the eff out …

Didn't really know much about him until I got into Billy Bragg after Mermaid Avenue and found out he was included in the Blokes as he was a hero and friend of Bragg. But learned more about him after that and that resume is effing incredible.

Maybe because of the brief reference to Christmas Eve in "16 maybe less", I have always seemed to revisit the Iron and Wine/Calexico EP "In the Reins" around christmas time. Really great album and probably my favorite work from either of the two collaborators (with possible exception of Bisbee Blue from Calexico).

hehe, maybe I shouldn't be the one checking my son's spelling homework

Not sure how I am feeling about King these days. I have great respect and have enjoyed many a good read in the past, but I really have a hard time believing I could read through some of his old or new stuff again. He is great with character and interior monologue but it always seems a bit bloated and the mental

PeeWee was getting big when I was a preteen but don't think I ever really got it as more than wacky performance art. Appreciated Wierd Al little bit more but always seemed a bit cheesy.

It would have to be something for Dr. Strangelove. Ideally, I am thinking the B-52 survival kit. God I love Slim Pickens' delivery.

For purposes of full disclosure, I think my opinion may be somewhat influenced by an unexpected developing crush on Gina Rodriquez. On a show filled with obnoxiously pretty people, she is somehow the most appealing.

This type of show is not necessarily in my wheelhouse. But heard good things about it and have been dvring to watch with my wife. This scratches her General Hospital itch while also being a good, funny, somewhat meta-show that I actually find myself enjoying.

Antwon Effing Mitchell in a suburban sitcom and a food network show …
He was so great in that role hard to think of him otherwise. But dude definitely has some charisma, will probably checkout this one.

Re: Iain M. Banks
Nothing personal, but this one really upsets and dissappoints me as I think Banks is one of my all time favorite authors on both the sci-fi (Iain M. Banks) and more traditional lit side ("Iain Banks" sans the M.).

Have to agree here. While I personally find much of their stuff hit or miss, some of my alltime favorite songs are Jew's ones are included in this dismissal. Given its nature, this outfit is gonna turn people off automatically as its just not for them and some of the songs can be more than a little peculiar and

Knowing and respecting Rollins like I do (and despite his sometimes overly hyper alpha male aggressive approach to making his points) I was really surprised when I read his initial comments and was expecting a response like this.
