I don't know, King Bastard. I stopped paying attention to Winwood after Blind Faith.

You can call it "Falling Action." That's what we teach middle school kids it's called.

Then you only know a piece of what makes that show fucking hilarious.

Seems like the biggest clue that this film is really a meditation on the relationship between art and media, not on the aesthetics of the particular art form, is the absence of any reference to Emperor.

"Courting consonance." I love it.

Reviews of very good episodes are harder to keep out of synopsis territory. It takes less analysis to reveal what works or doesn't work about the episode; just write up what the episode did, and it's clear why it's funny.

You're nobody if nobody hates you.

Here is a prime example of why I read the reviews and their comments as a companion piece to the episodes. A chance to laugh at jokes that I missed. Thanks, dude.

Bernadette is a scientist? Who works as a waitress, I'm guessing, to pay off all her science school debt?

Ha. I get it.

What the hell?
The linked video is AWESOME.

Morena Baccarin
It's a shame. I wanted to see her career take off.

Indeed. Thanks. Any show is better with an AV Club companion piece.

Lettuce, I was too quick to call you a tool earlier. You have entertained me now.

I think they could learn something from the Lie to Me Daddy-daughter relationship.

St. Murse, why do you hate America?

They only forgave her because she's Carla.

I also vote no. The magic of the show requires an absence of self-awareness, and weekly TV Club reviews induce hyper-self-awareness.

And if so…
What kind of special powers does she have? Does she use them for good, or for awesome?

You want to give it another go? We'll wait.
