Don't I know it!

Wow. I couldn't disagree more w/ Mike Vago's comments.

I feel the same way. It was understandably hard to express this when I was in film school.

God, that movie was fucking terrible. I saw it in the theaters because I loved City of God and basically all of the actors but it was just so damn bad.

This year we also have Stonewall (also getting terrible reviews) and Carol, which is getting great reviews. So at least we have Carol!

Oh well, I'm a woman and I thought it was one of the funnier lines for Emma Roberts. Her referring to her friends as gashes and slits doesn't sound right, and Abigail Breslin talking about an MMF threesome in three different ways didn't sound right either, but this line just seemed OTT in the right sort of way to me.

I brought this book on an airplane with me. I turned to a page that was literally just a giant nut sac, and I laughed so hard and tried to make it so the guy next to me didn't see what I was looking at. Very awkward. I love it.

Yeah, this made me very uncomfortable. How do grown men talk about teenage girls in this way?

I actually loved the second vagina line. It seemed like something from a John Waters movie.

Wow. I watched last season and I enjoyed it for the most part. I was pretty lukewarm about it until Carol started seeing the other Phil, and I was totally shocked when the last episode of the first season had me rooting for Phil and Carol as a couple.

My absolute favorite score in anything tbh

This is one of my favorite horror films! I recommend it to everyone. Solid gold.

I thought it was like 500 opening weekend but maybe that was only in the UK?

This episode really didn't work for me. You know, maybe in progressive areas of the country right now it is considered taboo to badmouth Caitlin Jenner, but that has not been my experience. I've heard countless snide remarks about her, and only because of her trans status - not because she's a narcissistic and

I have to interject here - women are not incapable of making or doing sexist things. Just because a woman made the shirt does not make the shirt automatically "not sexist." Think about that argument. If you wore a racially charged shirt and said it was ok because a black guy made it for you, would that really make it

I'm about 3/4th of the way through this novel and it's already made me cry so much! I love it though. Alice Hoffman is great.

I'm really surprised this got an A. I loooove all the other episodes I've seen so far, but this first one did nothing for me.

DFW is sort of ruined for me because of a particularly painful ex/breakup. That ex was a former member of Titus Andronicus so everything on the AV Club is reminding me of him right now >:( :'(

My username is a reference to that movie!

Michelle Williams proved she had comedy chops in that one too. I wish she'd do more comedies.
