I think standup comedians are a lot more funny than Harmon is on his own. I like his fictional writing - most of it, anyway - but I don't like any of his self-referential stuff. Mostly because he seems to be buying into what his fans think of him. It's kind of a similar thing as Kevin Smith, now that I think about it.

Did I say I was offended? I said he was a turd. Listen, I know you are a fanboy, but you've intuited an awful lot from an innocuous comment about how he can be a turd. Yes, he can be a turd.

No reason? His entire personality is annoying. I can't possibly be the only person who thinks that Harmon is kind of embarrassing.

OMG I love him. Can't wait!

LOL I am not a fan of Tarantino's segment in that movie, but I love Rodriguez's. Tarantino had too many lines in his segment imo

His personality in general. I mean, hate Chris Pratt if you want, but Pratt is intensely likable. Just reading his AMA made me a big fan. He seems so sweet. Harmon seems like he has a massive chip on his shoulder.

Annie remains the worstttt

Ugh. I love Community but Harmon can be such a turd.

Whoa. People actually like Todd's reviews? I always have to skip past at least a paragraph because he incessantly talks about himself/his past in relation to watching things. Personally, when I want to read a review of a show, I want to read a review of a show, not part of your memoir.

omg i would love this. but really i want a sequel to sound of my voice

Dogtooth was terrible. I was excited to see it since I love weird, dark comedies, but it tried my patience. No real "story" happens until the last like five minutes. Freakin' blasphemous that it's in the top 10.

I stopped watching Mad Men sometime during season 4 for this exact same reason! I grew so bored of watching Don philandering and then being ~so empty~ afterward. People tell me that the show got better, but seriously - the main character is the worst. It would be better if it was all about the female leads.

I heard Madonna sent QT flowers with a note that said, "it's about love, not sex."

I have to admit, when Marnie said that my heart twanged and I thought of my own bff. Sappy but I don't feel like anyone could understand me like she does

Whitest Kids U Know had some really big misses, but I LOVE "The Civil War on Drugs"

I will forever be upset at the writers of Dexter for changing that aspect of him. His lack of sexuality was really interesting. Also all that mess w/ Lila and the worst character ever, Hannah McKay, whose love somehow made him "not have to kill" but then he ends up being a (probably) killer lumberjack anyway?

Yep. 5 is my favorite season, hands down.

Jeff/Annie has always been sooo gross to me, especially since the show seems to both infantilize and sexualize her character to such a degree

And just when I thought I was going to get through an AV Club comment section without feeling alienated due to my gender…

Ugh the whole Booth Jonathon thing was so nauseating. He was a terrible hack that she clung on to because of his success, the same way she tried to cling onto Charlie when he got successful and now Desi. Yikes.
