The U.S.S. Intrepidacious was manned by 400 Vulcans. They encountered an amoeba inside a black hole. I give the episode a B+.

@ Raymond Luxury-Yacht re HAL 9000/ "Alice's Restaurant":

Heh. ;-)

I call my masterpiece "The Painter Of Laser Beans."

Coincidence?
Look at how similar the photo accompanying the Beefheart obit is:

@The Mutt: "I… run on beans! I run on… phaser beans! I… am… KIROK!"

I'll impress her with my Holy Grail quotes from Princess Bride!
No matter where you boldly go… there you are.

Speaking of Beefheart and SNL: Jeff Bridges offered "Rest in peace, Captain Beefheart!" at the close of the most recent episode. Not a great episode overall, but you've got to agree with that sentiment, especially when spoken by "The Dude."

And yeah, I know that the line is from the "Star-The-Other-Thing" franchise. I just mean, that's where I usually see your posts. :-)

I don't know what I gain by admitting that this line is EXACTLY, PRECISELY what popped into my head when I read the "apology accepted" post. See you on the Star Trek boards, The Beast Rabin!

@ Judas Booth:
David Prowse was in Doctor Who, A Clockwork Orange, and Star Wars.

Nirvana Unplugged is truly transcendent… brilliant stuff. See? I *told* you I was Gen-X.
