It is not a procedural. At all.

Well, there goes any shred of likeability Arizona still had for me. I mean, how DARE she?! I'm equally mad with Arizona for her actions and the show for making me sympathetic with April, one of my least favorite characters.

My eyes were rolling so hard when they went in the direction of Thad finding out about Liza's age and using it to blackmail her. I was expecting it to become a multiple episodes-long, protracted thing. Instead it was so satisfying to watch her immediately reject his threat and choose her friendship with Kelsey over

Adam knows how the Warren household is laid out because he's been living there for awhile since escaping the dungeon. He could be lying about how he "laid out" the dungeon, making it mirror the Warren household layout, as a detail to make him seem more like the real Adam. This would be similar to the trick it seems

    What.

Ahhhhhhh thank you for this comment. It lays all of this out so clearly and is such a good point.

Sooooo… What happened to the rest of the reviews? I just started watching this and was following along with the reviews her on AVC. Suddenly I get to the 5th episode and… nothing.

Thanks for this review! Never would have found this series without it. I'm two episodes in and I'm riveted so far!

I am hating having to constantly refresh the page to get the writers' comments, and having them come after the fact instead of in real time. Anyone else?

I know you're not getting a lot of comments on these, but I do hope you keep the reviews up. I don't have a lot to say about the middle episodes, but I really, really would like to read a review of/discuss the ending once NBC gets there.

I don't think it was supposed to be lighthearted. It was supposed to show that despite what Diane and Cary might think, good intentions and liberal beliefs or not, they really do have an underlying problem of racial bias within themselves and at the firm. It was supposed to offend/rankle the viewer.

I really like this show, but so many storylines, character beats, and ideas always feel rushed/underdeveloped. I think it would work better in an hr format so everything had more room to breathe.

    Diana Accessory Watch: That ring.

I can't believe I'm writing a post defending Henry, because I Do Not Like Him, but…

My friends and I are just watching this for the first time, hence my very late comment. We had a big discussion about this. We agreed that the guy they brought home was way too far gone to give consent and it was uncomfortable to watch. And then to add insult to injury, he got arrested under false pretenses, when

Noooooo, please don't stop covering Top Chef!

My only problem with this episode: Not Enough Nick Offerman. Otherwise, it was aces.

I lost my shit at "What is Aleve?"

Loved it when she came in and immediately asked for cereal. Such a perfect Marissa thing to do.

Ugh. The fence climbing. COME ON. It put such a sour taste in my mouth right at the end of a movie I was enjoying quite a bit, which was really too bad.
